This school situated in a beautiful location on hospital road. It was started on 01.10.1936 with 148 students and four teachers in the Vivekananda hall donated by Mr.K.V.Markandu as a library and a place of reception for hindu devotees and monks.Swami’s dream of a school for girls came true, through this BT/Anaipanthi Vivekananda girls school.Mrs.K.Bhupathi assumed duty on the first principal with the rapid speed the school was declared on the bilingual school on May ,1945.
